Afghan Education for a Better Tomorrow (AEBT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities in Afghanistan through advanced tele-education and healthcare resources, and we have formally partnered with them to integrate their innovative virtual platforms with our extensive network of volunteer engineering and architectural experts to deliver high-quality online academic instruction to Afghan university students.

The Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) is an organization dedicated to promoting US-Afghanistan business, investment, and trade, with which our Society shares deep foundational ties and an active, formalized strategic partnership to collaboratively empower Afghan professionals and stimulate economic development.

The Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) and the Afghanistan Engineers Association (AEA) have engaged in a working relationship to rebuild Afghanistan's infrastructure through shared technical initiatives, disaster relief efforts, and knowledge sharing, notably unifying their efforts within the Union of Afghanistan Societies of Architects and Engineers.

Serving as the nation's primary regulatory body established in 2004 to develop and maintain essential technical standards and testing regulations, the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) collaborates closely with us at the Society of Afghan Engineers through strategic partnerships and memorandums of understanding to modernize building codes, enhance quality infrastructure, and deliver critical professional capacity-building programs.

The Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) has had a working relationship with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), having engaged in efforts to promote global engineering excellence and support the reconstruction of Afghanistan. Through jointly sponsored capacity-building initiatives and the coordination of international fellowship programs, this engagement has empowered Afghan professionals and has elevated local engineering standards. This connection has helped ensure that the highest international practices have been integrated into SAE’s mission to build a robust, self-sustaining future for our homeland.

The Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) has a strong relationship with ASTM International, highlighted by SAE's historical efforts to promote, advocate for, and facilitate the adoption and application of ASTM engineering standards within Afghanistan's infrastructure and national building codes.

Balkh University stands as a vital Afghan educational institution with a diverse Faculty of Engineering, and we at the Society of Afghan Engineers actively engage with its leadership to thoughtfully assess and help fulfill their critical needs for technical support, laboratory equipment, and student scholarships.

Bamiyan University is a public higher education institution in Afghanistan that we at the Society of Afghan Engineers have proudly established connections with to expand our academic collaborations and support nationwide engineering education.

Herat University is a major educational institution in Afghanistan serving 21,000 students across 16 colleges, and it maintains a strong, collaborative relationship with the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) through joint initiatives focused on modernizing the university's engineering curriculum, advancing faculty development, and delivering innovative tele-education programs.

Established in 1963 as Afghanistan's second-largest technical institution of higher education, Kabul Polytechnic University serves as a vital partner for our Society as we actively collaborate to empower its students and faculty through specialized technical training, remote architectural education, and international design competitions.

Originally established in 1956, Kabul University is a premier Afghan educational institution that shares a deeply personal and enduring partnership with our Society, as many of our founders and members are proud alumni and former faculty who continuously give back to the university's academic development by providing tele-education, capacity-building workshops, curriculum support, and student scholarships.

Kandahar University is a vital regional academic institution in Afghanistan, and we have proudly engaged with its architecture and urban planning programs, having financially supported and engaged its students in our initiatives, such as the Bamiyan International Student Design Competition.

As a prestigious global academic institution, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) serves as the proud alma mater for several of our foundational leaders and has actively engaged with us on impactful educational initiatives like the Bamiyan International Student Housing Competition.

The Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) is the primary Afghan government agency responsible for overseeing the nation's critical transportation and infrastructure networks, with whom we at the Society of Afghan Engineers have cultivated a vital, enduring partnership to provide expert design consultation, capacity-building training, and the collaborative development of robust construction standards for our homeland.

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land (MUDL) serves as the primary Afghan governmental agency responsible for overseeing the nation's housing, urban planning, and building standards, with whom we at the Society of Afghan Engineers maintain a deeply collaborative partnership to provide expert advisory services, capacity building, and essential technical reviews that sustainably elevate our nation's built environment.

The National Water Affairs Regulation Authority (NWARA) is a critical Afghan government agency responsible for managing the nation's water resources and infrastructure, with which we at the Society of Afghan Engineers formalized a strategic partnership in 2021 to provide high-level technical advisory services, develop national water codes, and collaborate on sustainable renewable energy and irrigation projects.

As a vital institution for educating Afghanistan's future workforce, Paktika University has had a strong, collaborative relationship with the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE), which SAE has cultivated through its local representative's dedicated outreach and active conference participation.

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that provides global program management and facilities engineering services, and it has established a joint venture partnership with SAE to recruit and mobilize qualified Afghan engineers worldwide to support its international operations.

As part of our commitment to Afghanistan's academic growth, we proudly collaborate with Sheikh Zayed University in Khost—a vital institution featuring a school of engineering and architecture—by engaging its students in our tele-education workshops and international design competitions, while continuously exploring avenues to support its academic programs.

Founded in 1999 as a U.S.-based engineering and construction firm, Technologists, Inc. (Ti) has maintained a deep relationship with the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) through shared leadership—including Ti's founder and executives being prominent SAE members—and engagement in capacity-building initiatives aimed at rebuilding Afghanistan's infrastructure.

The Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE) has engaged with the Union of Afghanistan Societies of Architects and Engineers (UASAE) to provide a unified voice and technical expertise for Afghanistan's reconstruction and development. This relationship has focused on sharing international knowledge, capacity building, and advocating for official professional standards to bridge the gap between Afghan expatriates and local practitioners.

The University of Hartford (UH) is a Connecticut-based academic institution that has actively collaborated with the Society of Afghan Engineers (SAE)—primarily through the leadership of UH professor and SAE board member Dr. Mohammad Saleh Keshawarz—to modernize engineering education in Afghanistan and participate in SAE's international design initiatives.
